I was so happy to speak with this new mommy to be and to learn about her ideas for an outdoor spring maternity session. She wanted a fun, natural and casual session which reflects the relationship and love that she and her husband have for one another. I was eager and stoked at the opportunity to plan a session with them. You may remember this couple from the adorable “Baby is Brewing” baby shower I photographed earlier this month. I had so much fun with them then and shooting their maternity session was the icing on the cake.
Choosing a location was easy for this super cute couple. It was only fitting to have their session in the fun loving and artsy downtown square of Decatur which truly matches their personality perfectly. It marked the perfect setting for them as well as ample space for their puppy, Bella, who was such a pleasure to incorporate. We also couldn’t let the session end without a stop at Steel City Pops…it was the perfect ending to a beautiful spring day! You wouldn’t believe the forecast leading up to this shoot but the rain cast aside and the sun appeared just in time for this adorable session.
