I know you're probably wondering what Candid Frames is all about. I realized some time ago that I have a thing for photographing people at their most vulnerable time even during a planned photo session. The challenge I've always had was making my clients feel comfortable enough to get them to that place. Then I realized sometimes a persons most vulnerable moment during a session is when they are truly enjoying themselves, being present in the moment and often times when they weren't looking at the camera.
These 'in the moment' type of images are what I truly crave for as a photographer. I love capturing people in between poses, which means I capture natural smiles, natural happiness, natural joy and true character. It truly shows who the person really is but don't worry we will still capture those beautifully posed shots as well. I believe we should live life like this: Candidly in a natural, honest, free from reservation, impartial, and outspoken kind of way which can be displayed by the way we live our lives.
I'm a lifestyle photographer and life itself is candid. I want to live it and capture it frame by frame.
